So after a bit of thought I figured I'd post this one and the one of my Captain. I sketched these back around in August. And I was going to completely color them. But I find I have no real interest in doing so. But a bit of time has past, and I feel like I'm stagnating because I don't move on from these. So moving on. You get a sense of her colors.

While I take some issue with Babette's face I am fairly proud of aspects of this. Especially next to the picture I did of her a couple of years ago. Woo. More than anything I am fond of the dress. Tried pushing some of my comfort level to try something more challenging. And I wanted to do a more updated picture of her.

So Babette. She's one of my steampunk characters, somewhat unintentionally. She was born in an RPG session one day and kind of stuck ever since. She's 18 years old. She met my Captain Felicia DaSilva when she was 16. She was a bar wench that Felicia picked up in France. She was seduced into being Felicia's cabin girl. She's a sort of mousy girl. Soft spoken. She's a bit naive but very kind. She'll do just about anything Felicia asks. She prefers more standard Victorian fashions.
